Time Management for Creative
People
by Lee Silber
Book review for Borders.com by Julie

Time Management for the Creative person
is a must have for Right-Brainers. It helps to focus the creative mind
and set a path or a series of paths that lead to success. As a creative
myself the biggest problem is to do one thing from start to finish, this
books guides through this problem. It definitely, helps with procrastination
and taking control of one's life. Just because you're creative it doesn't
mean you have to be disorganized and not be able to achieve goals and
become a successful businessperson. Lee's advise is priceless as it let's
the creative see there is many paths in a journey but the end result should
be the road to creative fulfillment and happiness. This can be achieved
with a little planning and definite goal setting. The author exemplifies
different and creative ways of setting goals, which aid in visualizing
the end result, without the boredom of a "business" regulated set up.
Lee's sense of humor through out the book keeps it flowing, to the point
it was hard for me to put it down. Also, very helpful are the exercises,
the questions posed to the reader, these really help and getting to know
what it is you truly want. For the creative it paints a clear picture
of where it is you want to go and how you are going to set it up to get
there. I highly recommend this book as it has helped me to put my life
in some time perspective and given me the incentive to follow my instincts
in somewhat of an organized manner. Now, I am leaving behind the procrastination
and setting goals for success and fun.
