What are Inspirational books, to me they are the books that after
you read them, perhaps even before you put them down, they get your
mind and life moving in the a different direction. Notice I did not
say a better direction for it is always in the perspective of the
beholder that we see the results. When a book inspires you to
change, to take charge, to motivate and leaves you feeling good
about yourself and the new opportunities in your life I think it has
done a good job.
This is what I was aiming for when I wrote The Path to Personal
Success and Freedom; Turning Hurdles into Stepping Stones, it put
into words all the things that I personally was practicing and were
propelling me forward into living my dreams. I was on the way to
realizing goals which I thought might be only dramatic
visualizations, but when I put into action simple principles of
perseverance the realization of those dreams began to take shape.
I always wanted to be a writer, but in the past it was only a want…I
needed to formulate a plan, and before the plan I needed to believe.
The theory of NO DOUBT became my mantra. You must eliminate doubt in
order to succeed. Everything is possible if you’re willing to forge
forth and work for your dreams. Yes, I did say work. I am a firm
believer in magic, I see it all around me, but no amount of candles
are going to guarantee success if the work is not done, if you
procrastinate and if you don’t believe in yourself because of the
negative tapes you have engrained in your subconscious it’s going to
be a real challenge to achieve the things you deserve.
That is why this book I believe can aid in turning hurdles into
stepping stones in your path to personal success and freedom.
Speaking of goals, my goal was to have a book published that one
year, but--it turned out that through a series of networking
coincidences I stumbled onto a great group of people who had a
series of published successful books. I attended one of their
meetings, listened and became motivated to expand my writing
horizons. That is when I became a part of the Live the Life you Love
family (we might say) because it truly felt like I was surrounded by
a lot of people I must have met before-- maybe not in this life
time, but there was a wonderful connection. This led to
co-authorship with highly influential and spiritual individuals as
Deepak Chopra and Dr. Wayne Dyer and many more inspirational
leaders.
So in one year I ended up with two books published and one of
them the Live the Life you Love; Seizing your Success becoming a #1
Best Seller…not bad for dreaming. Ok, I did have to write, but when
I write it also gives me the opportunity to dream…specially in my
Novels…we’ll talk about those later. |
