 Let me give you some basic information on the pendulum. Pendulum
divination has been used for centuries. There are two common
pendulum models involving either the suspension of a ring from a
thin silk thread, or the suspension of a crystal from a chain. There
are many beautiful and elaborate pendulums made of all types of
stones, crystals and metals. But, the accuracy of the pendulum is
not based on the expense or intricacy of the object but the
attraction to your own energy. Search around, get a feel for it and
then try it out—you ought to feel an affinity for the pendulum which
is meant to be your translator from Divine Wisdom.
Whether you have made or bought your pendulum, the most important
thing is to purify it before you use it. Fill a bowl with fresh pure
water. Say a cleansing prayer or affirmation asking your guides and
the Powers that Be to bestow only Divine virtues for the Highest
Good to rule over the pendulum. Dip both ends of the pendulum into
the water for a few minutes. On the night of the full moon place it
in the moonlight and leave it until the morning after. It is said
not to place the pendulum in direct sunlight! The reason for this is
still a mystery to me but I have read about it from a few different
sources, so personally I rather go along with this theory-- as I’m
very fund of the pendulums which have found their way into my life.
You must get a feel for your pendulum, carry it with you for a
couple of days, and keep it in a small velvet or silk cloth pouch.
This way it will tune into your energy.
Now, go experience and communicate with your pendulum. I believe it
is just an easier way to communicate with your guides and your
Higher Self. Remember always to ground yourself, relax and say an
affirmation of protection stating that no Entities of the lower
realms are welcome to enter or communicate with you or through you.
You only want guides of the Highest Realms with Divine integrity.
As with any divination tool in which you open yourself to receive
messages from other realms and planes of existence you must encircle
yourself with protection to keep a clear and benevolent state of
mind and spirit.
The Pendulum is such a complex and yet simple magickal tool. How
does it work, well if I knew I provably would be teaching some sort
of Quantum Physics. All I know is that it does. There are many
mysteries in the Universe and I believe the Pendulum is one of them.
The way it works is very simple; a question is asked with a basic
yes or no answer and the pendulum goes to work. Some circle to the
right or to the left and some work by swinging from left to right
and from and to the person holding it. I prefer the circle mode as
it is easier to detect. The basics of the workings are something you
and your individual pendulum can practice.
I’ve been using Pendulum divination with very positive results for
years. It is a very good medium for quick answers when time is of
the essence and in this day and age, sometimes a short time to make
a decision is all we have.
