Why Tarot?
The origins of the Tarot deck are veiled in mystery. The time and
place of their birth are a matter for speculation. Some say the
first decks date back to Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations, where
the ancients used them to symbolize secret teachings of mysterious
religions. Most popular belief is that Tarot cards were brought to
Europe by fortune telling gypsies coming from either Egypt or India.
Later it transcended to Italy, France and Germany by around the 14th
century.
The Tarot deck consists of 78 cards, 56 Minor Arcana cards and 22
Mayor Arcana.
Why I have chosen the Tarot as my favorite mode of divination is
simple. I perceive it as a pictorial road map with Divine Guidance.
The gift is to go beyond the pictures into the Cosmic Akashic
records and ascertain the answers that may aid the client in their
journey.
The cards act as a welcoming portal to a Higher Wisdom which comes
from the Divine. We are all creatures of God and Goddess or whomever
you hold as your Creator. The Tarot cards are just one of the many
tools brought to fruition to facilitate communication with a Higher
Wisdom which when used with knowledge, insight and discernment can
help many seeking guidance and direction in their lives.
Along with interpreting the cards I am fortunate to have wonderful
Guides who have come to me in this lifetime to guide me in my path
to aid others. Every day I ask the Universe and the Powers that Be,
that my Guides be of the highest integrity and of the Light. I am
honored to have been chosen by them and to feel confident and
comfortable to have them by my side.
