I had the pleasure of meeting W. Terry Whalin at the
Southern California Writer’s Association. It was a grand
day for me on many counts as I had the honor of being
the Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Whalin was the speaker
that day and what a privilege it was to hear him speak.
Every one in the room listened intently as he pour
countless information and such valuable advise to the
would be author.
At the end of the luncheon I bought my copy of his book
“Book Proposals that Sell; 21 Secrets to Speed Your
Success” and of course, had him sign it. I was able to
speak to him, however briefly--but long enough to feel
his integrity in the business and the sense that he
truly wants to see other authors succeed.
After reading the book in two days, I realized it was a
very valuable tool for writers to have on their way to
getting published. That is why I’m recommending his book
on my site. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about the
publishing process and what it takes to put together a
successful nonfiction book proposal and I would like to
share that with you.
So when you get a chance to read Whalin’s book, let me
know what you gained, what you’ve learned, how you feel
about it and send me an email.
In the mean time keep on Writing!
