Why is it easier to give advice then to listen to your own. Here I am helping others with motivation, inspiration, a helping hand…whatever it takes to get somebody going and living their dreams. Of course, coaching, mentoring is part of my overall vision and dreams too. But, we all have personal dreams which sometimes we set aside in order to be there for others. Whether we do it to maintain our financial responsibilities or because we’re needed. It comes a time when we look back and see unfinished work. Work that is crying out and calling for completion.
I am talking about the novel which I started writing over a decade ago. This book is not just a fictional story but a nostalgic and sometimes exuberant view at many aspects of my life‘s journey. An excursion which has all the facets of life, death and rebirth. A story that my soul needs to tell.
I would like to share with you an overview of the tale in question. Let me know what you think, how you feel about it. Does it grab your attention? I’m a writer open to the vulnerability of the critique.
The following is a very brief synopsis of Eternal Gift-Immortal Love ã
JENNIFER ROGERS a writer is compelled to start journaling after a series of events develop which test her life and her very own sanity.
The first time she met LOUIS DE NOIRE at a Club in Hollywood, California it felt as if her deepest fantasy had become real. Her first encounter with Louis left a mark which she could never erase. Though Jennifer was married at the time, unhappily so–she could not betray her vows. An innocent walk and light conversation carved its way into her heart. Because of her high moralistic ethics she had no choice but to keep the encounter as a blissful and unforgettable memory which someday would fade away.
Soon after her divorce, her life became a kaleidoscope of coincidental experiences. Louis started showing up at a distance, making himself a part of her new life’s landscape. He was observing from afar how she was growing as a person and developing her psychic gifts. After her divorce it was clear she had open herself up to explore more freely many spiritual paths and had an insatiable hunger for life and knowledge.
Louis finally felt she was ready for their true meeting. He entered her home, her life and her heart. He felt she was ready to accept who he was, what he was and who they were to each other in a past life.
What will happen, how will it end? Will this be a happily ever after romance or an unexplainable roller coaster ride full of suspense with paranormal and mystical experiences at every dark turn?
If you want to be one of the first to know the answers contact me and I’ll keep you posted of the books development and unveiling.
Sharing the writing of this novel with my writing clients, students and friends is my own way to keep accountable. It all starts with a thought, a dream then focused direction and a plan–but creation doesn’t happen until it is written.
Keep on writing! I am writing right along with you.

Change it’s such a wonderful thing. I know you’re thinking–I’m off a little. Most people fear change but, to me change is an opportunity to grow. To flow if you will with the currents of life.
When I look at an Astrological chart I see it as a road map to life. A physical graph that shows abilities, challenges, opportunities and all those things that brought us this time around to our present existence. But, as the directors of our own motion picture which we call life, we’re entitled to make changes until the final curtain goes down. We’re in charge and we need to pay attention to the direction of the Universe. This way we work with the forces and the Powers that Be, rather then against them. I guess we can say we’re co-directing in a way but because of our Will we have the final say and we get to yell “Cut.â€
In my own on-going saga I call my creative business I cannot allow myself to get stuck in any one place for long. One must learn to adapt to the currents, trends and interests of others along with the seasonal opportunities that may come our way. And make sure we catch the wave before it passes us by. When dealing with products we must stay way ahead, always preparing before the actual event or activity.
Staying adaptable is a gift, it’s continually meditating on the Temperance card of the Tarot almost on a daily basis. It’s about finding the balance between what we want to do and what is needed of us to be done. It is a constant change and fine tuning to the energies that show up. It’s about honing into the intuition that shows us a way to create and not be so stuck in the logical rigid path that we may have drawn in the past.
Like the ocean with its ever present ebb and flow we must learn to guide our lives with the constant fluctuation of our emotions. Been creative makes us a little more in tune to those forces and therefore we must allow ourselves to be open to their cause and effect.
Being a Gemini, I have never been too rigid as to my direction. I feel and therefore I think. An Air sign is all about thinking and in this existence in order to bring abundance is about translating that creative energy and thoughts or visions into tangible objects or services that can be used, viewed or be of benefit to others.
Correlate your abilities and gifts with the needs of your client base. In the business word this could be considered studying the trends in the market. In my world is create what they want. Listen to the clientele, ask about what they like or what they need. Always pay attention. It comes down to been aware to those around you. You can’t be creative and live your life in a vacuum. You never know when the Muse is going to come around. Even though the creative process itself is a solitary path, one needs to integrate and communicate with others in order to recognize their needs and desires.
The challenge of change is quieting the mind and been aware at the same time. Clear your thoughts and let the chatter subside then listen within to what your intuition is saying. When you pay attention in this manner you will feel the emotional and physical changes within you which will direct you on the right path. Don’t panic, always remember whichever path you chose can always be re-directed when a new fork on the road appears.
Now, embark on your wonderful creative path and enjoy the voyage.

Writing is a solitary profession, whether in front of a computer in a closed room, on a pad with pencil or pen while relaxing on a chair at the beach, or bowed over a table in a coffee house. The writer enters his or her private confines and opens the door to the Muse to create, oblivious to the outside world, family, friends or daily concerns. The writer has that mysterious and mystical talent, misunderstood by many, to describe worlds that do not exist, to make people fall in love with characters who have never lived, to make us feel emotions beyond our control.
Â
The writer will admit that, from time to time, his talents fail. The words elude him, the characters will not cooperate, the descriptions fall flat, and the page remains blank despite the best of efforts to fill it.
The writer will also admit, when it comes to starting a new project, the best time to begin writing is tomorrow. Not today, not tonight, not right now, but tomorrow, when he or she is rested, when the ideas will flow freely. This is universally agreed to be the best time to begin, allowing for preparation, for getting notes in order, for finishing that last bit of research.
Alas, for most of us, tomorrow never comes.
The writer will finally admit he or she is accountable to nobody. Nobody looks over a writer’s shoulder. Writing is voluntary, chosen because of innate compulsion, not outside pressure. Writing is hard work; easy to put off because the world at large cares little that is never completed.
But the writer’s soul goes on denied of its full expression and that in itself brings the Muse to tears
Let’s together stop the Muse from Crying and rejoice with her in the laughter of fulfillment.
Let’s go from the Gut, the Intuition, the Spark of creative thought to the Glory, the Success and the Achievement of Authorship. Â
Do it now, not tomorrow, write something–even if it’s just a comment on this blog.Â
We must surround ourselves in the darkness in order to appreciate the light. Sometimes we need to find comfort in our darkest moments– face them with anticipation not trepidation. It is in the dark moments in our lives when we don’t hear the guiding voices loud and clear that we’re forced to focus and thus seek clarity. In the darkness we’re forced to expand our senses by not relying on vision but our heighten awareness.
It is necessary from time to time to stop and get off the treadmill and look inside. Forget the outer world, the compliments and rewards from others. Truly and honestly look inside and seek to acknowledge our gifts and value we hold in our inner being. It is necessary to reflect in silence in order to find the words necessary to affect changes in one’s life and thus the lives of those who seek our guidance.
In order to implement changes in hopes to better others, we must be constantly doing the work ourselves. We are on a journey seeking wisdom. Along the path, we learn if we’re open, what this great Universe has to offer. With this knowledge we then can share the findings along the way and help guide others in their own passage. In our moments of reflection within the shadows we must keep in mind the knowledge and wisdom gained is for the Highest Good of all and not for gaining power or control over others. We’re all travelers in a phenomenal adventure taking many different paths but all in a similar quest to elevating ourselves to the same spiritual destination. One of the methods used many, many eons ago was the element of scrying. This could be done by looking into a pond at night with only the moon light to illuminate. Now, we can use a scrying mirror which is a black reflective surface usually made out of glass. My personal use for this is to aid in visualization of the things desired and clarity of thought. When we look into the blackness of the scrying glass and allow our imagination to create the visions of the reality we want to surround us, it can be very revealing. When done in a relaxed atmosphere with positive affirmations it can be very enlightening. We must keep in mind, that the images formed may not be exactly what we perceive to be the things we WANt. But, we must trust the visions created which later come to fruition is the vibration of the things we NEED.
The scrying method takes time and practice and sometimes it does not have instant results. Even when the images are revealed it may be like a dream–where there must be a time for reflection and interpretation. Now, looking at ourselves openly and honestly can be done anytime, anywhere. We all wear masks from time to time in order to fit in the world and the different surroundings, but there must be a time when the mask comes off–when we are our true soul reflection and we can be our source. In the darkness we don’t need a mask, there is nothing to see but to feel our true essence. Let’s make time to retreat to our primal cave, shut out the external influences, look with our immortal eyes of the soul that lives on forever and immerse into the light to make a difference in the World.

I want to communicate with you some of my thoughts on the Temperance card. Today, I attended a Tarot class, yes, I go to class I don’t believe in ever stopping my quest for knowledge. I’ve always felt a special connection with this particular card. Perhaps, it is my eclectic lifestyle and the variety of things I do that keep me on my toes and need the feeling of balance constantly to stay on my feet and moving forward towards my many dreams. This class touched upon many valuable points which brought certain things to light and other things were affirmed in the discussions.
I’ll share some of these revelations as I see them based on my own experience and interpretations.
One of the primary images that stand out for me when looking at the Temperance card is the blending from two vessels with liquids. Finding the right blend of emotions is always important, just the right combination. Perhaps this image inspires memories of Alchemy in my past lives. To me this card signifies our constant quest to be all we can be. To balance our careers, our families and still have time to nourish our self with much needed self love. In other words in order to find harmony in our daily existence we must use moderation.
In the early Tarot decks the Temperance card was not portrayed with wings. It is unknown as to when it was that she became interpreted as an Angelic impersonation. So was Temperance an angelic being above and beyond human nature or was she a mere human? To me she is human striving for higher achievement.
I love to meditate to this card as I find reassurance that all I do during my daily journey is of value. That one thing is not more important then another yet all needs attention. In order to achieve this I believe it’s important to live in the moment. Give 100% to everything you do, but do take a break in between to recoup and refocus.
The Temperance card is an Icon in my life to help me balance all that is essential in my life. And also those who are significant to me. It is challenging at times but very rewarding when at the end of the day you can reflect and see all those things you have accomplished and the lives you have touched in a positive manner. This could be through work, your clients, students those who seek guidance to better themselves and their lives or in your personal life with friends and family who you love dearly and need to make time for in order to feel fully happy.
Perhaps the representation of the winged angel is in reference to our spiritual self. We’re spirit first living in the physical realm, therefore we have limitless resources and opportunities.
The Temperance card helps me to find patience with the shortcomings and exuberance with achievements. It aids in seeking value and learning from choices we have made in the past that may have not turned out to be perfect yet rendered an important lesson for us to grow from. With Temperance you can also enjoy personal achievements and have self worth without the inflated ego which may get in the way. Ego sets us apart from others and should not be looked upon as a negative attribute, but when used or felt in moderation it can give us our uniqueness.
When things seem to get a little out of hand, when you catch yourself rushing from what you may consider one chore to another–take a moment pull out the Temperance card…take a breath, relax and focus on blending your energies for the highest good and affirming that you’re more than capable of attracting abundance of balance and harmony and all good things.
