Copywriting

Copywriting is an effective way of getting clients/customers to take the necessary steps in making purchases or taking the desired action. Also called CTA or Call to Action. The element of persuasive wording includes marketing strategies to improve sales and conversions for your products or services. Copywriting is an essential element in advertising and marketing. This writing technique not only educates, but can inspire, and motivate people to act.

Copywriting Rates: $60 per hour

Editing--Copy Editing and/or Line Editing--Let me explain...

There are several types of editing. Developmental, substantive, or content editing. Structural editing is a similar process which deals mainly with structure, logical flow of the writing, and the actual content of the story. Once the editor and/or author is content with the book, article, or any other paper created, it’s time for the Line or Copy editor.
That’s where I come in.

Copy Editing and Line Editing

As a Copy editor, and Line editor I will make corrections to spelling and punctuation. Emphasis will be on grammar, word choice, and enriching writing quality. Copy editing, and Line editing seem to go hand in hand. Line editing gets its name, from the fact the editor, literally goes “line by line.” I place scrutiny on word choice, to make sure the message is clear, eloquent, and concise. Both line editing and copy editing are imperative modes of editing, refining, and polishing writing no matter what the subject or paper.

Editing Rates: $50 per hour

Ghostwriting

As the Ghostwriter I do the actual writing, and the client in most cases, retains the authorship of the property. I’ve written fiction, nonfiction books, memoirs, public speeches, and online content to name a few. Some authors don’t mind giving credit for the work of the ghostwriter, and some must have complete anonymity on the project. The credential arrangement can vary depending on the accreditation of the final product. There will be a written stipulation and agreement of ownership, authorship, and accreditation of the product prior to the start of the project. Ghostwriting can vary from project to project. In some assignments, one can take handwritten notes from the author and transform them into a fluid narrative. Other times, it becomes a close-knit collaboration, with intensive interviews to get the feel, facts, emotionality, and essence of the story. Ghostwriting is an intricate and challenging journey, one which I enjoy.

Ghostwriting quotes are typically based on a flat fee with an advance and installments by certain benchmarks/milestones.
Milestones include the delivery of:

Chapters
Rough first draft
Quarter of the book
Second draft
Hitting specific word counts

Ghostwriting Rates are an approximate: $70 per hour or
$100 per page

The Rate for Ghostwriting can be negotiated upon the Contractual Terms with Individual Clients. This can depend on the subject, intricacy, and organization of the project.
